Every story needs an opening chapter, and yours starts the last weekend of September. The veil isn't the only thing getting thin, so is the line between your fate and that of Witch City.
Step into the Pickering House for a private, story-woven tour where every room reveals a new chapter, of the house's history and yours. Angelica Cresci,, Hellenistic astrologer, occult educator and Hades devotee, will guide a community reading of the day's own natal chart, unpacking what the stars had to say about Salem's beginnings (is the city secretly a Gemini?), while Cook & Co pairs each room with sips and snacks built to match the moment.

Founded in 2025, Cook & Co. Events was born in Salem's oldest home by me! Hi - I'm Katrina Cook, the head Cook (host, entertainer, etc) of Cook & Co.
I am a natural born host and community cultivator. Sagittarius Sun, Gemini Rising, and Pisces Moon - thank you so much for asking. I sail in the summer, I ski in the winter, and I track the number of oysters I shuck (and eat) in a year (172 in 2025).
In October of last year I made the decision to start this event business. As most origin stories go, I was craving a way to flex my creative muscles and shake things up a bit. Thanks to the encouragement and guidance from a few close friends, I crafted my first calendar of events at the Pickering House in October, making this whole thing officially, official.
The events we offer are an extension of who I am and what I love. Each event has been carefully crafted to give you a one-of-a-kind experience, with a signature Katrina Cook twist and touch.
